Profitable Practice Workshop: Managing Your Finances in Private Practice

In-Person Workshop in Asheville, North Carolina

This workshop will be coming again in 2019. Stay tuned!

How are you feeling about your finances in your private practice? Whether you are bringing in the big bucks or barely making your office rent, you need to know what to do with the money you have coming in.

Even with training and education in business management and accounting, I was still unsure of what exactly to do with the money I was receiving from my clients in private practice.

When my first client paid me for their session, I thought… ok, what do I do with this? I know to put some back for taxes, but then what? Do I pay it all on my business credit card? It’s good to pay off debt quickly, right? But how am I going to pay my personal bills? Maybe I should pay myself most of it? I was overwhelmed with all these questions. There’s got to be an easier way.

In this workshop we will discuss how to ensure that your business is profitable and sustainable from the very start. You will learn how often and how much to pay yourself, what percentage your expenses should be at in order to not lose money in your business, and how to set aside money for taxes. Other topics will include how to best keep your expenses under control, and how to set your fees in a way that will be sustainable for your practice.

The information in this workshop will be presented in a way that is easy to understand and implement. It will be tailored for therapists and other helping professionals.

This 2-hour workshop is called ‘Profitable Practice Workshop: Managing your Finances in Private Practice’.

The cost of the workshop is $60.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants so that you will be able to receive individualized support related to your specific practice.

The workshop will be held in the Self Help Building | 3rd Floor Conference Room | 34 Wall Street, Asheville, North Carolina 28801
