HEALING THE WITCH WOUND

A Tiny, Cozy Retreat to Step into Your Magick & Embrace Your Soul’s Calling

October 23-26, 2023

The Healing The Witch Wound Tiny Retreat will be held in a modern, luxury Scandinavian cabin nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

There’s only 5 total spots available for this sweet, tiny retreat.

What is the Witch Wound?

The Witch Wound is ancient.

The Witch Wound lives in our DNA.

The Witch Wound is a collective trauma.

Throughout history women were burned, tortured, hanged, beheaded, and drowned – all because they dared to be their own person, not conform to society, and share their special gifts of healing.

They were the healers, the midwives, the diviners. They worked with herbs as medicine, they tuned into their intuition, they gathered wisdom from the natural rhythms of the seasons, they knew how to work with the moon cycles. They were the medicine women, the oracles, and those who were in tune with nature and animals.

And for this they were killed.

And, it wasn’t just those who did “witchy” things. It was any woman who dared be different or “difficult.”

Maybe you were too outspoken – therefore you were a witch and were drowned.

Maybe you had a neighbor who wanted your land and made up lies – his word meant more than yours, therefore you were hanged.

Maybe you were a woman who never married, lived alone, and had a sweet black cat – you must have been a witch and were burned.

Maybe you turned down the advances of a suitor – you were wicked and there must have been something wrong with you, so off with your head.

I could go on and on.

Because these atrocities happened they are part of your history, whether you know it or not. The trauma and fear of those times is embedded into your being.

Are you terrified of your intuitive gifts, so you pretend they don’t exist?

Do you ever wonder why you become paralyzed with fear when you go to record a video about your new offering?

Are you worried what others will think of the REAL you, so you keep yourself hidden and small as to not draw attention?

If the level of fear and avoidance that comes up for you doesn’t quite match up with the reality of the situation, you may be experiencing the witch wound.

I’m sure that you know all about survival instincts. So think of it this way – our primal brain doesn’t know that it’s the 21st century and that mass numbers of women are not being killed for not conforming to a religiously tyrannical, patriarchal society.

I’m here to tell you that the world needs your gifts. We need you just as you are. Warts and all.

Through this retreat I’m hoping to cultivate a safe and sacred space for you as you begin to face and overcome these old, bone-and-soul deep fears in order to fully and joyfully show up as your true self.

The Healing The Witch Wound Retreat is here to support the experience of women+. If you identify as a woman or femme in any way that is important to you, you are wecome to apply.

We’ll gather each day here in the living room, accompanied by a stunning view, a warm wood stove, and supportive friends.

Otherworldly healing can occur in a small, intimate group setting where each person is truly seen for who they are.

We’ll work together to release the fears that keep us small, hidden, and disconnected from our true power and purpose.

We’ll gather here in the dining room for cozy, intimate meals together, filled with rich conversation.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks will be provided.

I have to admit that gathering over meals is one of my favorite parts of the Tiny Retreat. There’s just something so very special about this type of connection.

You can expect deep personal growth and transformation, scrumptious food, evenings at the fire pit while gazing at the moon and stars, ample time for rest and reflection, oracle and tarot divinations to support your growth, and slumber party-style fun and connection with those who truly get you.

This tiny, cozy retreat is set at a beautiful luxury mountain home in Black Mountain, NC and is designed for only 5 people.

I hope to see you there.

And, P.S. I can’t wait to be hottubbing it up with y’all in this custom built, stainless, infinity edge spa that boasts a stunning view of Mount Mitchell!

Imagine a cozy, grown up version of the sleepovers you had with your friends as a teenager, in an amazing home, with all the delicious and nourishing meals and snacks you could desire. This is what the Tiny Retreat was like! There was no rush, nowhere to be, and we could talk and connect for hours. I felt like I was with people I have known my whole life, even though I had just met most of them. I enjoyed being able to be vulnerable, talk about deep emotional issues and process things with the other attendees, while feeling safe and supported. None of us wanted to leave after the goodbye circle!

This retreat is for you if you are looking for a gentle approach to your personal/professional growth. As an uber introvert, the size of the retreat was perfect for my personality and because Cindy has spent so much time curating a retreat that is an easy pace, my nervous system was balanced between growth and rest. Can’t beat that! I took the most beautiful nap after one of our sessions and continued to get downloads that also came in an easy style. The delicious and healthy food also puts your body in a state of wellness. I can’t say enough about how much I loved my time at the tiny retreat.

Why Monday-Thursday For This Retreat?

There is purpose and intention behind the dates that I have chosen for this tiny retreat. The dates were not chosen at random, and they have a greater aspiration in mind.

If you have been following me for any time at all, you know that I’m all about reclaiming rest as a birthright.

I’m also (in my own tiny and unique way) challenging current society’s unhealthy relationship with work and productivity.

I’m so over witnessing people living for the weekend.

Weekends are supposed to be a good ole time – but when you are working an exhausting Monday – Friday job you’re likely using Saturday to recover. Or if you are doing something fun on Saturday, you may not get the rest that your body needs (even though you’re doing something enjoyable).

But wait, you still have Sunday right? Not really. Many people are consumed by the Sunday Scaries and spend the day in dread of the upcoming week. And there’s still laundry to do and dishes in the sink.

I absolutely will not contribute to your exhaustion. Period.

I absolutely will not take precious time away from you that would otherwise be spent resting, doing something fun, or spending time with family and friends.

I will, however, interrupt your embodiment of internalized capitalism.

In order to change the (deeply ingrained) tides of internalized capitalism, we’re going to need to shake things up a bit, as something like this isn’t going away on its own.

If you’re not sure what internalized capitalism means, it’s that your self-worth is directly related to productivity. How gross is that?!

I know it’s unconventional to have a retreat that doesn’t take up your entire weekend (and leave you no time to recover). But that’s what I’m doing. To some this may seem radical, and to others it’s a breath of fresh air.

If you’re feeling consumed by your work, I hope that through this retreat you can experience another possibility of living. No more living for the weekend in a perpetual state of exhaustion. We’ll be exploring ways of living that take into account your energy, creativity, desires, and natural design.

Meet Your Host...

Cindy

I’m a Business Witch & Life Coach for Introverted & Highly Sensitive Souls (and Solopreneurs).

And I love hosting tiny retreats.

Tiny retreats are truly magical. There’s nothing like experiencing the collective brilliance of wise souls, as you are supported and guided back to yourSELF.

Let’s create magic together.

I highly recommend anyone to take a few days for themselves to attend a tiny retreat. You don’t realize how much you need it until you are there. It is a great opportunity to meet with a few other people who are working to improve themselves and willing to support each other through the process. Give yourself this time of rest, reflection and growth.
